Black And White With A Hint Of Red

It’s been a long time for me without doing photo shoots. It was until a few days that I made the conscious effort to realize why. It’s nothing new that I struggled for many years with an eating disorder which made my life miserable. I was in my bones and people made hard comments about my body. But I didn’t care. I was happy that they saw how skinny I was. Then a several months ago I started to get healthy and the comments that I got where the type “you have gained weight” and that hurt. So, I stopped taking new pictures. Thank God, now I have made my peace with it and I feel healthier than ever. I enjoy food so badly and I don’t skip social events in other to avoid food. Just the people who have had an eating disorder like me know what I am talking about and can understand how I felt. For the rest food is just food, not a trigger for emotions. With these words I want you to remember to always do what you love and don’t care about what others might say. People will talk anyway.

I am sure you will be able to see how good I feel in this pictures. The dress is lovely! I like the contrast of the black and white stripes with the red shoes. However, there are two main accessories that make this outfit special. Ha sido un largo tiempo para mí sin hacer sesiones de fotos. Fue hasta hace pocos días que hice el esfuerzo consciente para darme cuenta del por qué. No es nada nuevo que he luchado durante muchos años con un trastorno alimentario que me hizo la vida miserable. Estaba en los huesos y la gente hizo comentarios duros sobre mi cuerpo. Pero no me importaba. Estaba feliz de que ellos vieron lo delgada que estaba. Hace varios meses empecé a recuperar la salud y los comentarios que me hacían eran del tipo «has ganado peso» y eso me dolía. Por lo tanto, dejé de tomarme nuevas fotografías. Gracias a Dios, ahora he hecho las paces con esto y me siento más saludable que nunca. Disfruto muchísimo de la comida y no evado eventos sociales para evitar la comida. Sólo las personas que han tenido un trastorno alimentario como yo saben de lo que estoy hablando y pueden entender lo que sentía. Para el resto la comida es sólo comida, no es un factor desencadenante de las emociones. Con estas palabras quiero que recuerden hacer siempre lo que les gusta y que no les importe lo que otros puedan decir. La gente va a hablar de todas maneras.

Estoy segura de que serán capaces de ver lo bien que me siento en estas imágenes. ¡El vestido es precioso! Me gusta el contraste de las franjas en blanco y negro con los zapatos rojos. Sin embargo, hay dos principales accesorios que hacen a este conjunto especial.
